Kryeministri në detyrë i Republikës së Kosovës, Albin Kurti, sot mori pjesë në hapjen e qendrës së dytë të kompanisë Concentrix Ballkan brenda këtij muaji. Pas Mitrovicës, kompania Concentrix Ballkan sot hapi qendrën e saj në Prizren.

Në fjalën hyrëse të tij, tha se kjo ngjarje sot dhe kjo rritje e qëndrueshme nuk është vetëm sukses i kompanisë suaj, por është sinjal i qartë i besimit në klimën e biznesit dhe ekonomike të vendit tonë.

“Gjatë katër viteve të fundit, qeveria jonë ka ndërmarrë reforma të rëndësishme për të vendosur themelet e një ekonomie të qëndrueshme, transparente dhe miqësore për bizneset. Përmes nismave legjislative, kemi krijuar sigurinë ligjore dhe qartësinë institucionale që kompanitë kanë nevojë për të operuar pa pengesa…në të njëjtën kohë po investojmë në infrastrukturë fizike dhe digjital. Rrugët, energjia, mbulueshmëria me internet, e shërbimet elektronike po zgjerohen në të gjithë vendit”, tha ai, duke theksuar se qëllimi kryesor është të ndërtojmë politika ekonomike që synojnë ta bëjnë Kosovën konkurruese, të besueshme dhe tërheqëse për investimet ndërkombëtare.

Pas hapjes së Concentrix Ballkan në fillim të muajit qershor në qytetin e Mitrovicës, ku po ashtu ishte i pranishëm kryeministri Kurti, ai u shpreh se me hapjen e qendrës së re sot në Prizren, Concentrix vetëm se po e thellon dhe zgjeron praninë e saj në Kosovë duke krijuar kështu vende të reja pune dhe duke kontribuar në mënyrë aktive në zhvillimin e një ekonomie moderne shërbimesh në qytetet tona. E ky zgjerim po vjen në një kohë të trendeve pozitive makroekonomike.  “Në tremujorin e parë të këtij viti, ekonomia e Kosovës u rrit me 3.6% të Bruto Produktit Vendor. Ne e shohim këtë rritje të reflektuar në rritjen e punësimit, investimit, turizmit, eksporteve dhe, më e rëndësishmja, në besimin në rritje se Kosova është një vend ku idetë, njerëzit dhe bizneset mund të lulëzojnë”, deklaroi kryeministri.

Ndër të tjera, ai përmendi se një nga asetet më të mëdha të vendit tonë është fuqia jonë punëtore e re, shumëgjuhëshe dhe e aftë në përdorimin e teknologjisë, dhe se për ta forcuar më tej atë po investojmë në trajnime profesionale, në fushat STEM në arsimin universitar dhe po bashkëpunojmë me sektorin privat.

It is a pleasure to be with you today in Prizren – a city of rich heritage and a future built on innovation, knowledge, and commitment.

Just a few weeks ago, we stood together in Mitrovica to inaugurate a new Concentrix site. Today, we meet again in Prizren, celebrating yet another milestone in your expansion across Kosova. This steady growth is not only a success for your company – it is a clear signal of confidence in Kosova’s business and economic climate.

Over the past four years, our government has undertaken significant reforms to lay the foundation for a stable, transparent, and business-friendly economy. Through legislative initiatives, we have created the legal certainty and institutional clarity that companies need to operate without disruption.

We are focused on ensuring a level playing field for all – with predictable regulations. Our foremost aim is to build economic policy aimed at making Kosova competitive, reliable, and attractive for international investment.

In parallel, we are investing in both physical and digital infrastructures. Roads, energy, internet connectivity – and e-services – are being expanded across the country. We are also strengthening investor protection, ensuring that foreign and domestic businesses alike can grow with confidence.

But we are also looking further ahead, to position Kosova for the industries of the future.

From business services and IT outsourcing to clean energy and digital finance, Kosova is building an ecosystem for innovation-led growth. Our young, multilingual, tech-savvy workforce is one of our greatest assets. And we are working to continuously strengthen it through investments in vocational training, STEM education, and close collaboration with the private sector.

The BPO sector plays a vital role in this strategy. It brings global services to local communities, creates modern and well-paying jobs, and fosters a work culture that is dynamic, cooperative, inclusive, and future-oriented.

Today, Concentrix is deepening its presence in Kosova, not only by creating new jobs but by actively contributing to the development of a modern service economy in our cities. You are helping shape a new work culture – one that gives people opportunities in the cities they love.

This expansion comes at a time of encouraging macroeconomic trends: in the first quarter of this year, Kosova’s economy grew by 3.6% of GDP. We see this growth reflected in rising employment, investments, tourism, exports, and most importantly, in the growing belief that Kosova is a place where ideas, people, and businesses can thrive.
