About the Book

Authored by Ndue Ukcama and translated into English by Lekë Gjon Buçaj, The Jahelez of Dragobia: One Family’s Resistance Against Communism is based on the personal memoir of Mustafa Elezi. It records the true story of a noble family from northern Albania stripped of their property, sent to internment camps, and executed for refusing to yield to tyranny.
