How is digitalization affecting Albania’s economy?

Our ‘Skills Development for Employment’ project studied three key sectors: ICT, energy and tourism and presented findings and recommendations.

Most companies have a digital infrastructure but do not use advanced technologies

They are open to use new trends such as AI but do not use digital business models

In tourism and energy, decision-makers need more digital literacy

These and other recommendations are shared with the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation and other relevant institutions, to follow up with further steps in the digitalization process – an EU requirement!
